Yes, you can send flowers in London without knowing the recipient's address. Order as usual, enter the recipient's phone number at checkout, and we will contact them to arrange a convenient time and place for delivery — without spoiling who the flowers are from, if you'd rather keep it a surprise.
It happens more often than you'd think: a new colleague, a friend who has just moved, someone you met recently, or a person you want to thank but whose home address you'd never ask for. Here is how it works.
How it works, step by step
- Choose a bouquet and your delivery date, then add a card message in the bag.
- At checkout, add the recipient's phone number in the “Recipient's phone” field. Your own contact details go at the top — that is how we send your confirmation.
- Not sure of the address? Message us on WhatsApp before you order and tell us what you know — an area, a workplace, or just their number — and we'll advise how to complete checkout.
- We contact the recipient to agree a time and a place that suits them: home, office, wherever is easiest.
- Your bouquet is made that morning and taken to them by courier.
Keeping the surprise
When we get in touch, we say we have flowers to deliver and ask where and when suits them best. We don't say who they're from — that is what the card is for. If you'd like to stay anonymous altogether, leave your name off the card.
Why the recipient's number matters even when you know the address
We ask for the recipient's phone number on every order, because it is the simplest way to make sure flowers arrive in perfect condition:
- If nobody is home, the courier can arrange a neighbour, a safe place or reception instead of leaving flowers on a doorstep.
- Offices, hotels and hospitals often have their own rules for deliveries — a quick call avoids flowers waiting at reception all day.
- Some buildings have no buzzer, or the address is hard to find. A call solves it in a minute.
Good times to use it
- Thank-you flowers for someone you know through work.
- Congratulations to a friend who has just moved house.
- A romantic gesture early on, when asking for an address would feel too much.
- Sympathy flowers when you are unsure whether the family is at home.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send flowers with only a phone number?
Yes, for deliveries within London. Message us before ordering and we'll arrange the details with the recipient directly.
Will you tell the recipient who sent the flowers?
No. We only arrange the time and place. Your name appears on the card if you include it.
What if the recipient can't be reached?
We'll let you know so we can agree the next step together. Please make sure the number is correct — see our Delivery Information for full terms.
Does this work for same-day delivery?
Yes. Order before 2pm for same-day delivery — see how same-day delivery works. Allow a little flexibility in timing, since the recipient chooses where and when.
Every bouquet is made to order with flowers from the London flower market that morning. Choose a bouquet and leave the arranging to us.
